Alright.. sorry guys, I'm terrible at updating. Honestly I have no idea what's gonna happen. I leave in 4 days and I'm starting to get nervous as hell. I'm working on packing and it will be interesting because I'm a terrible packer.
Packing tips for women: (I oddly think of Irene when I read these.. hehe)
*If you're not gonna wear it more than 3 times, don't pack it: Now this one I completely understand, but I must say, there is always that one piece that you just HAVE to have, yet will most likely never get worn. I'm really trying not to pack shit that I don't neeed.
*Shorts are uncommon throughout much of Europe: This one is difficult for me. I DON'T handle the heat well when I'm wearing pants. It will be interesting to see what I wear. Honestly, I was just getting American Style down, now I have to switch to European style??? WTF?
*When traveling keep copies of your Passport just in case: This I completely agree with! If my passport gets stolen it would be a lot easier to bring a copy to the consulate and get it replaced then to be completely SOL.
*Ensure that you have voltage converters: It's important to make sure that you can make your electronic devices work abroad. In order to do this, you probably need to get a voltage converter as well as an adaptar to make sure that you don't blow up your electronics! Imagine blowing up your computer! AGH! It'd be terrible :
-and maybe the most important of all....
***USE YOUR BRAIN***: Honestly, don't be one of those stupid travelers who acts as though they are the only person in the world. You ARE NOT invincible. You WILL be TARGETED as a tourist. and there ARE dangers out there. Not everybody has good intentions. Remember, just use some common sense and you can avoid A LOT of problems that could arise!
Hope this helps in the future, as it has certainly helped me...
